Pure Peptide

What does it do?

Pure Peptide, or Tripeptide-29, refers to a specific trio of amino acids (glycine, proline and hydroxyproline). Together, they aid collagen synthesis to increase skin cell renewal and boost collagen production, resulting in firmer, plumper skin and reduced fine lines and wrinkles.

Where does it originate from?

This Pure Peptide is of synthetic origin where the Proline and Hydroxyproline are sourced from Glutamic Acid, a proteinogenic amino acid found abundantly in certain Seaweeds. The Glycine is derived from ammonia.

When should I use it?

This ingredient can be used day and night.

What skin type is it best suited to?

Pure Peptides are best for mature or ageing skin.

What does it work well with?

Pure Peptides and Hyaluronic Acid both naturally deplete in our skin as we age. Together, they help plump the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines.

What else do I need to know?

Collagen levels can begin to deplete from the age of 20. As a result, the skin loses elasticity and becomes thinner and drier.
