How do I use the Niacinamide Balancing Daily Sunscreen? Apply a generous amount daily to clean skin. Gently blend into the face and neck until fully absorbed. Use as the final step in your skincare routine or prior to makeup application. Apply at least 15 minutes prior to sun exposure and reapply after perspiring, swimming, or towelling.

Multi-Tasking Sun Cream

The cream feels rich and nourishing but sinks into the skin, leaving it feeling hydrated. Gives a really good base for make up and my skin appears smoother and clearer

Was nearly perfect but turned my face grey

When I heard Q&A were releasing sunscreens I was beyond excited. Then I heard it was going to be a mineral hybrid formula, and my excitement turned into worry. Mineral sunscreens are not known to be suitable for darker skin.

I decided to give it a try anyway because I love all things from Q&A. There’s no fragrance and it didn’t sting my skin or eyes. The cream was slightly thick, not a lot comes out with each pump but you only need around two pumps to cover your whole face and it left my skin with a powdered finish (I have oily blemished skin). It also left my face GREY/BLUE. I thought maybe the blue tinge would settle down, it didn’t and the grey/blue was worse around the hairline and my chin.

I would say it wasn’t as bad as some other sunscreens with minerals in and I’m not sure how it would look under makeup. Hopefully one day Q&A will release another sunscreen that’s chemical based and no minerals as this sunscreen was almost perfect, except it made me grey and blue :)
