You suggested this after you discontinued 5-HTP, which I had used for years. It doesn’t measure up: separates during application, then leaves drier areas of skin looking and feeling dry. Very disappointed.
This cream smooths well onto skin and sinks in nicely. However, it does leave the drier areas of my face feeling somewhat tight right after applying it and its moisturising effects only seem to last an hour or two on drier areas, so I have to reapply frequently or put something heavier over it. Works well on the oilier areas though.
Q+A Ceramide is perfect moisturization. It absorbs superbly beneath the outer layer of skin to give an immediate supple, soft, smooth non oily and matte finish. Perfect under make or on its own. Application is light and it's great that it contains squalene which is like the natural sebum that my skin was stripped of by using too much retinol.
I want to make this a part of my routine for the future. It has a beneficial restoring effect by having squalene.
