Glycogen
What does it do?
Glycogen provides long-lasting moisturisation due to its ability to hold water for long periods. It helps to energise skin cells, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and significantly increases moisture in the upper and lower levels of the skin. It can also improve the stability of emulsions.
Where does it originate from?
We use a plant-based glycogen extracted from the kernels of sweet corn.
When should I use it?
This ingredient can be used day and night.
What skin type is it best suited to?
Glycogen is a universal ingredient suitable for all skin types.
What does it work well with?
Glycogen works well with Vitamin C to help fight signs of ageing. It also works well with Saccharide Isomerate to provide long-lasting deep hydration, leaving the skin visibly smoother and healthier
