Seaweed Extract

What does it do?

Seaweed is rich in vitamins and minerals that feed the skin. It's also a natural source of Glutamic Acid, an amino acid that helps to produce the peptides needed for collagen synthesis. This makes it a great ingredient for anti-ageing products, helping to have a tightening and lifting effect on the skin.

Where does it originate from?

We use a multitude of different Seaweed Extracts. Bladderwrack grows in the Baltic Sea, Atlantic Ocean and Pacific Ocean. Sea Lavender is native to the Atlantic parts of Europe. Algae thrives in the rocky parts of the Northern Atlantic, and Horsetail Kelp is also found in the North Atlantic.

When should I use it?

This ingredient can be used day and night.

What skin type is it best suited to?

Seaweed Extract is suitable for all skin types but ideal for mature skin due to its anti-ageing benefits.

What does it work well with?

Pairing Seaweed Extract with Pure Peptide helps to support collagen in the skin.
